When Microsoft meet Yahoo!

This quite a hot news this few days that Microsoft is offering Yahoo! $44.6 billion in cash and stock. Yes, it is a bloody $44.6 BILLION in CASH some more.

What is Microsoft plans to do after that? Beat Google up on its face? Use the money to crash into Google's butt?

Still remember the day when Yahoo! get Geocities and Geocities become Yahoo!-Geocities.

What will it be for this time?

Will Google successfully torpedo the deal? Will Google counter offer Yahoo! Even if they really merge up together or any case of them, Google still conquering the 62 percent worldwide Internet search market compares to Microsoft-Yahoo! 16 percent despite of the fact that Google lost the market in e-mail and instant messaging.

Yeah, Instant Messaging. How many people are using Google Talk! anyway, though I am one of them? Still remember the day when MSN messenger won over ICQ. I was like "huh, you guys are not using ICQ anymore?? doh~".

But if we look at from Yahoo! stand point, will it accept the offer when it has its stock price near a four-year low? Damn. Microsoft is offering 62 percent above its market value. Does it has any choice?

Let’s wait and see what will happen next.
